In Search Of The Perfect Apple began when the Golden Delicious apple trees in my Idyllwild backyard were stuffed with amazing apples one year. I came up with the idea to put microphones up in the trees to record as I climbed on a ladder looking for the "perfect apple" and then eating it. Inspired, I went into my studio to compose and record music to accompany my foray. The general feel I was looking for was something like an old Pink Floyd song I've always liked called Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast. In addition to the title track, this collection is made up of tunes I wrote and recorded in my studios in Idyllwild, La Quinta, and Hidden Meadows, California.

Special thanks to Robin, Jackson, Cedar, Erin and the rest of my family. Additional thanks to Elaine, Keith McCabe, Bill Plummer, Joseph Liston, and Tim Whitcanack.  ©(p)2022 by Joey Latimer, all rights reserved.
